Sony A6500 Camera Review

The Sony A6500 was announced on October 6, 2016 as a step above the A6300 camera. The main difference between the A6500 and the A6300 is the addition of in-body image stabilization and a touchscreen.

The A6500 also adds a few minor changes which includes a different processing chip that is more powerful to allow for faster and more complex processing and a highlight spot metering mode. The processing chip improves the image review time after shooting an image. This is one of my frustrations with  my A6000 and I am happy to see Sony address this issue.
