Canon EOS 70D Advantages

Fully articulating LCD screen

For videographers the fully articulated LCD screen is hard to understate. Since you are sometimes shooting at difficult angles or need to turn the LCD to face your subject, having a fully articulated LCD screen helps with the video framing and composition process. The touch screen is further enhanced in it’s usefulness due to the full swivel and tilt movement of the LCD screen when compared to the fixed screen of the 7DII.

WiFi built in to the camera

Conclusion

If you are a serious sports or wildlife shooter then the 7D Mark II is the camera for you, but if you can’t afford the 7DII then the 70D is a great camera. For the typical photo enthusiast the 70D won’t leave you wanting for much and the advantage of the tilt and swivel LCD is a nice little exchange for the slightly heavier and more expensive 7DII.
