The Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS is the kit lens that is available with the Sony A7 and A7 Mark II bodies. It is a standard zoom lens designed for Sony full frame mirrorless ILC cameras. It can be used on APS-C bodies as well and will yield a 42-105mm full-frame equivalent field of view.
The lens is small and light weight, which contributes to the perception of overall smaller size of the mirrorless cameras from Sony.
